BLACKPINK has once again captivated the world with their global influence, as they lit up Seoul’s landmarks in a vibrant pink glow. According to YG Entertainment, on July 6, the group’s massive promotional event, “PINK AREA: Takeover Lighting,” celebrated the launch of their world tour “DEADLINE”.

Starting on July 5, the celebration involved iconic Seoul landmarks, including Namsan Seoul Tower, Sebitseom, and Banpo Bridge, which were bathed in striking pink lights. The dazzling display created a mesmerizing and enchanting nighttime atmosphere, with fans and citizens alike enjoying the vivid scenery. Notably, the rainbow fountain show at Sebitseom and Banpo Bridge, paired with the pink lighting, added a unique charm that delighted thousands of onlookers.

What truly stood out was the stunning live representation of BLACKPINK’s signature sound, “BLACKPINK in Your Area”, amplifying the electric energy in the air. Meanwhile, the group’s world tour “DEADLINE” will take them across 16 cities worldwide, spanning 31 concerts. In this tour, BLACKPINK will perform at stadiums in Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and many more cities, making it a truly international celebration of their music.

Additionally, on the evening of July 5, BLACKPINK officially kicked off their DEADLINE world tour at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea.
